Pressure mounting up on Malian Military leaders to set a realistic time frame for elections. From external forces . EU, USA, France, ECOWAS etc and now internally from religious and community leaders, some calling for elections in six to nine months time. See links below (ask mister google to translate)

The one thing I have noted from almost all articles I read re Mali is the peaceful nature of the protests and discussions between the opposing parties involved in this latest blip on the path to democratic elections. In fact that is the one thing they can all agree upon, the need for democratic elections. It's just the timing of the elections that is up for discussion.
I think we should see a resolution very soon.
