Regarding the upcoming correction, ASX200 is just back to pre-pandemic level and if you discount past inflation (20-30% in 2020-2021 IMHO!) we're not 100% recovered yet. Compare that to the excesses of NASDAQ - I don't think we will be affected nearly as much as the US market (barring any milder side effects). Maybe some short term tree shaking but back to normal in 3-6 months?
Anyway I'd rather stick to my stocks rather than lose 10-15% a year to inflation with cash.
PS If I was to do any risk mitigation (I won't) that would be buying stock in companies that provide staple goods and services, commodities etc.
