She puts my Peter to shame :/


I only dragged him out from under a table and behind an overgrown pot the other day but clearly it’s time for him to go back into hiding.
(After hosting my daughter’s abandoned pair of ‘mid-sized’ chooks plus two large ducks for 18 dreadful months during which time every edible sprout and seed in my small ‘garden’ was denuded and I was a slave to their constant baying every time they heard movement in the house - feeding daily tins of mackerel, raiding supermarket lettuce bins and trying to deal with their companion rats who seemed to be the only things that ate their commercial chook food after the Labrador-cross was restrained, there is NO WAY my bent towards garden whimsy will ever indulge itself in real life barnyard creatures of any type ever again, {I wouldn’t even eat their eggs!})?

…… Still she is lovely …
