Further from the article today in the AFR today, there is a paragraph from Thomson Reuters Eikon data that suggests Magellan's Global Equities Funds are down 5.9% compared to Vanguard MSCI Index of International shares ETF (which tracks the MSCI global index) is down only 2.43%. This is a difference of 3.47%, obliterating the 1.4% December difference.
They promise so much and then give it all back. One step forward, two steps backward.
