Maybe I over reacted you think? You're probably right, when read back in light of the context of the prior posts perhaps I was a bit harsh on @numbatgumboots. I've done some DD on my potential future purchase of some CAI and have decided to defer the decision due to the following red flags which are completely IMO and perhaps should not be polluting the Capricorn thread.
Having said that - I feel as though it would very improper of me to post my opinions on the CAI threads as a non holder.......
CAI Red Flags in order of highest severity:-
- Dean Vallve the Mining Manager has left CAI in Nov 21 and is now listed as the Senior Project Engineer at Hot Chilli HCH as of Jan 22. This is greatly concerning being so close to production.
- The CP (competent person) listed for the Blue Spec 101g/pt exploration ann. 8/11/21 is Ben Playford. Down in the Table 1 data Ben explains that stated intercepts are not true width and gives valid reasoning as to why. He calcs the intercept angle at 45 degrees. Given the already narrow nature of the significant intercepts reported this would literally mean a reported width of ~2.8m has a true width of 2m. Many retail investors would not realise this which is a bad look in context of my next point - the marketing method employed by CAI and their targeted investor base.
- 10 investor presentations for 2021 versus 2 for CMM. Seriously. Is that managing director or marketing director Dave?
- Watching Dave's Dec RRS preso in the context of him being aware that Dean had left at that point, I personally detect nervousness in his body language. As he goes to leave the host calls him back for questions. The first one appears painful for Dave... Maybe it was sent in from Dean? He also implies at the end that he believes CAI Stage 2 will be bigger than Emerald or Capricorn Stage 2........ Seriously Dave from what I can see the Mt Gibson DFS is going to make Blue Spec look like rubbish.
There are others, but that is enough for now.
There are ever so subtle echoes of Daveyhurst in some aspects of Calidus.
I think Stage 1 will be successful. I think Stage 2 will bring Calidus to it's knees.
These are my opinions only and do not constitute investment advice
