No I guarantee that that is what happens. I have seen it happen many times. I have just done it.

I read Hoges comment which at that stage had about 3 thumbs ups. I gave his comment a thumb up. Now while the drop down window showed that HC had accepted my vote and showed that it had changed to now record 4 thumbs ups when I returned to the list of RAU posts from reading Hoges one then it showed Hoges as beoing at 3 "thumbs up " still.

I then went quickly to another site and immediately returnd and sure enough Hoges was now recored as having 4 "thumbs ups"

I have proved this to myself a number of times over several weeks.

You could well be right that I have had a number of posters who have decided to rain on my party and given mainly "thumbs downs".

Now come on people ! I did request just "thumbs up" responses.
Gee ! Can you rely on your fellow human beings for any positive gestures these days ?
No just the fingers or the ....the dreaded single finger !
