When looking at CXO's market cap of 1.6 billion compared to AVZ's 3 billion market cap, when you have a goliath like AVZ the market cap/shares on issue is not significant because of the sheer monster output of AVZ which generates tremendous value!
To be blunt: its like comparing a clapped out Camry(CXO) to a Lamborghini(AVZ)!
