    Exactly right!!

The issue is not Shorters , the issue is BUYERS. The issue is CVN does not produce anything at the moment , does not have a cashflow and is in a declining industry which is being shunned by ever increasing Green investment consideration.

Look , I have been in CVN since 2014 and I was attracted to it future possibility with one of the largest potential oil finds in Australia for decades. The longer CVN and Santos take to get Dorado to cashflow production , at the moment appears 2026 the greater the risk that the "future potential" which I was hoping for in 2014 will not happen. There is also a "small" chance , that even with the production potential , that the project does not go ahead ......because some new OIL/Gas investments will be canned and the fossil fuel will remain in the ground.

Woodside is planning to go ahead with Scarborough and there is some resistance to this project. Dorado is way behind Scarborough and will possible face even more resistance from green advocates........and then the key question will be

does the world have enough fossil fuel production already committed to meet the future demands in a declining world requirement for fossil fuel.
