Thanks. I must admit I assumed that the feedstock would come from the dewatering required for coal seam extraction, but it sounds like they are going to get water from elsewhere? I would have thought it would be more economic to use the surplus from the extraction process unless the water is crappy quality? If the water is saline then that increases the costs of processing H2 (RO plant etc). Gobi desert is pretty difficult to pump water around due to the freezing conditions as well so that increases the cost of the system somewhat (need to bury all pipelines and potentially heat any above ground plant). I am interested to see how they consider these factors. Seems like a lot of buzz but not sure if it is practical without more info
