Just a complimentary business to BNPL which is the consumer side lending.
Not sure how far the Malaysian Lending License extends - maybe IOU could utilise it for B2B lending too and generate a new business segment for the company.
As the Malaysian government is expected to start releasing the BNPL regulatory framework this year 2022 - could come in the Bank Negara Tech week starting Jan 24th to 28th ?
This could affect some current BNPL operators without the suitable licensing going forward.
