The abc is very pro affirmative action, have you looked at how many staff now are from multicultural backgrounds, how many are homosexual or disabled now compared to ten years ago
People from these groups are predominately left, affirmative action or positive discrimation is a left ideal

now I’m not saying it’s a bad thing to be inclusive per se but it does mean you aren’t getting to firstly the best people for the job or secondly staff with equal weighting’s politically

If 80% of your staff are left bias they are going to find stories that suit their bias, this is exactly why during the vote for gay marriage abc staff were sent a memo reminding them of balanced reporting as the abc was aware of its own bias
