A plan would have been : 1) Federal Government procured sufficient RATs and provide free to all as Boris has done for a year in the UK. 2) Dom not to overnight remove mask and QR check ins mid December as Omicron was taking hold, only to reimpose 10 days later. 3) Get kids vaxxed before schools returned 4) Hold off lifting restrictions until more had boosters -aged and vunerable.
Now we have worst of both worlds - mass infections, record deaths and economy collapsing with confidence worse than lockdowns
