Those who have done their research know that we have been told by the Head of Investor Relations to expect commercial deal announcements soon. We have been told by Peter van der Made to expect an explosion in sales. We have been told by Rob Telson that demand is insatiable.
Today my portfolio moved in magical ways that if I spoke about would be taken as boasting but my only fear was giving in to the temptation to sell when I know that all of the above statements have been made by proven honest and trusted individuals.
What tips the balance for me into holding on is not just the technology which should be enough reason in itself but the statements of the CFO Mr. Ken Scarince who I have come to respect greatly who said in his presentation that Brainchip's valuation would be in the billions of dollars and that they were in discussions with major automotive manufacturers not just with Ford.
It should be remembered that he emphasised the other major automotive manufacturers particularly when you consider his presentation was specifically directed to the German investment community and only a couple of months later Mercedes revealed that they are using Brainchip's AKIDA technology to achieve 10 times better performance.
So like Tony Dawe who spoke about commercial agreements in the plural, Mr. Ken Scarince spoke in multiples of automotive manufacturers beyond the known EAP with Ford. We now know one was Mercedes and probably as he was presenting to German investors it was to the forefront of his thinking.
So who else could they be? An obvious one after Anil Mankar jointly presented with Toyota and Denso where he clearly had a pre-existing familiarity with the Toyota representative and there was an intellectual agreement between both men about where edge computing could have a place in the automotive sector I have Toyota and Denso(?) sitting towards the top of my potential other automotive manufacturers list.
Those who like to read know the temptation when you are reading a very good novel to jump to the end to see how it turns out but if you succumb to the temptation you will ruin the story well at times this temptation can be over whelming. This temptation exists here with Brainchip but selling out now to realise incredible returns will with all of the above and everything else we know about will potentially ruin the story. Particularly if the reason you sell is because some anonymous poster has worked on your natural anxieties.
I know the share price will go up and down on this journey but the integrity of those leading Brainchip together with a desire to read every chapter will have me staying the course.
My opinion only DYOR
