While you'd take all that time to study, investigate, ruminate and procrastinate, I would be going straight through the legal process, exhaust all appeals and then kill the mongrel.

Kill my 9 yo child and I'd kill them. Simple. Couldn't give a shit why, when or how it came to happen.
It did happen, and the person who did it should also die.
All that study, research etc etc can still happen. And should happen. There's plenty of case studies.
But this person has crossed the red line and needs to be taken out if proven guilty.
