Let me say HLL sets a high standard for this board and that should be the way forward for everyone an important thread like this.
This is a daytrading thread and should provide insight on exactly that. I try to keep to HLL standards. Research, Valuation, Analysis and calculated estimates skew the odds in my favour...if you dont want part of my trade ideas read my disclaimer. Sometimes a trade can be a week but seldom do I hold for longer than a few minutes or a few days.
Short covering trades last as long as that takes...But Friday is the short covering day... mostly.

The short has pounded it since 10.00am yesterday but 8.28-8.30 is key support.
This goose of a short is 200,000 shares short today plus what he didint cover in the last 2 matches.(The ASX should eliminate the afternoon match...my new mantra..it just serves to price manipulation..and the US market doesnt have one).
Anyway the short/naked short is probably anywhere from 200,000- 400,000 shares short thus far this week...and its not going lower. James Packer is likely buying some here at 8.30....watch for a change of holding in the next day or two.
The market manipulator in the stock is trying to cap below 8.40 thats obvious but one buyer will launch this into the 8.65 range fast is my read of the green. The short this morning is in the red on his parcel for sure so he faces a dilemna to cover today or risk wiping out his manipulated market gain.
Im betting on an afternon rally. This stock should be in the $9 range on value so dont be suprised to see some corporate activity soon either.
