Came down to data processing & the final model they opted for, i.e DUG1 or DUG4 after multiple iterations. CVN chose the later. CGG undertook an independent study to verify this model. Velocity modelling was supported by interpretation of 11 horizons in total & well ties & logs from 21 wells.
And they still mapped the structure wrong & found the Elang deeper by 80m !!
