I forgot to add that in order to drill in NW Palawan SGC will need to get an ECC (Environmental Clearance Certificate). It took Blade Petroleum 2 years nearly to get it done (you need to do an EIA, Environmental Impact Assessment Report which includes an Oil Spill Response Plan, which takes at least 6 months). Now, I know Manta has not done that. And if the deal with Manta is dated Dec 2021, how the heck did SGC get that done in light speed time? If they do drill by Q2 then they hold the world record of getting things done in the Philippines.
