I mean, one of us must be reasonably close to the real truth, right? We range from, die and rot to nothingness, all the way up to, join us and you'll be reconstituted by G.d's perfect memory and be resurrected as a really hot 25 year old who will live on earth forever. And we haven't even touched on reincarnation, or a harem full of virgins, being some of the other options.
Nothingness doesn't sound that bad to me when you consider I was all doing that for the first 14 billion years of this universe without even trying.
