I understand what you are saying, same can be said for Li, but for oil, while unloved lack of investment should be considered against lack of demand growth.
- Daily EV sales are at 20 thousand.
- Less developed nations, remote areas around the world, who historically have relied on diesel for energy are deploying renewables and storage.
- Developed nations are deploying renewables and storage, large scale.
Oil, coal and gas are being disrupted, admittedly it will be a death by a thousand cuts initially, but the cumulative effect is accelerating by the day, thus maybe there is enough oil to support the transition away from ff by 2025, thus no new investment required. Managing the transition will be a shite show, and will be a bumpy ride, that's for sure.
