The character who is putting his foot on WA is interesting. On one hand, the medical system wont cope (according to him). Why hasnt he spent real money getting that sorted in the last 2 years? The state makes enough money. The fact that these power bonkers premiers have been nanny state thinkers only slowed down peoples vaccination uptake. It provided time for people to get vaccinated but its also prolonged the period and costs to get this done. The very slow illness and deaths in WA is great but he doesn't allow for quarantine periods for essential workers in health or mining. Thats backward. The system would work fine and its retarded the state. The guy is an ex Navy lawyer apparently, so business sense isn't on his CV. The wharves are starting to go through all sorts of hardships and delays over there. Getting assays, drillers and drivers is very hard and only driving up costs. Why cant someone do a test before arriving and do a max of 7 days lock up before completing another test is beyond me. He is playing God and politics. Probably thinks he's running a ship (which he didn't).
Once WA reopens, then its inevitable the cases will rocket. Then will he shut everything down again? I think once he finally gets sorted out, then its all on. You are either vaxxed or not. Imagine if he got the unvaxxed to pay for their medical bills if they get it and start to strain the doctors, nurses and hospital system. That might help push the number a bit if people have to pay their way and take responsibility. That will freak a few out. lol.
ps Cant wait for the Kennedy whack job to get covid. He has played a role in the deaths of a large number of naïve people without recourse. He can get away with this crap because of freedom of speech laws. I like those laws, but not when idiots like him do bad things. Quite a few of these commentator types (no medical background profiteering on remedies, courses, consultations etc) have got covid and died. Hilarious if it wasn't so sad. If he gets covid and falls over, it will be a visa moment. It will probably save lives.
