For my tuppence worth - that might be strictly correct for half year and annual statements. But, in this situation, there is a material omission in that the Parent (or the Company - the owner entity which in this case being just Nova gold operations) is normally also disclosed separately. This is not the case here and the information disclosed in consolidated format is completely misleading. Sure, Nva can exercise power over SLR, but the S*it will hit the fan if Nva attempts to take any of the proceeds from the SLR IPO which were not related to Nva sales of shares it held in the IPO process.
Anyway - if we take AUD35m from the AUD41 balance - we have only AUD6m in the bank. There will be a CR soon - I am now thinking Timmy is more correct than wrong.
