Losing out on LG Energy to LTR is more likely the reason.
PLS current customerbase is Chinese.
China have bought up big all over the world so lots of future competition.
That competition means BMX auction platform will be become a negative and or redundant.
Long term customers are better.
Diesel and distance are not green.
KB CEO has made many statements blaming Ganfeng for the fall of Altura.
Ganfeng will remember the insult and when it suits them will sell PLS.
Whats in it for them ?
Ganfeng were there for AJM milestone 2 refinancing.
So many want to ignore how PLS managed to acquire AJM.
Ganfeng know.
Europe and U.S. are looking for local Li supply and there is a very big need to produce Li chemical locally not through China.
POSCO is a late comer to the spod LiOH party. Who are their customers?
Have they left Mynamar yet?
The Europeans won't touch companies invested there.
VUL have their customers all lined up pre production.
Why hasn't PLS or POSCO?
POSCO might find their DLE projects in Argentina are a better bet and walk on the plant.

POSCO walked on their Chilean deal.
I still can't find any EV battery producers interested in the Calx solution or downstream customers.
