A year he would probably like to forget but, mercifully, he probably doesn't remember a lot of it anyway. There should have been a roar of anger about a commander who leaves even one of his own to the mercy of the Taliban but we know how voices can be suppressed in today's America. A long list of epic failures is covered here and no doubt 2022 will bring another truck load for the world to shake its head at.
