Totally agree that Midrim and Laforce should see some form of spin off as the portfolio now looks a little skewed with the recent consolidation of Spanish and Portuguese tungsten and tin. San Finx looks a great deal though, with no upfront payment and will probably get in to production before Santa Comba. I believe that Valoriza has sold out of all its assets so it seems they were exiting for strategic reasons allowing RFR to get some really good terms. I have seen reports about opposition to the mine but I believe this is business as usual in this part of Europe - very active anti-mining groups, well funded that make a lot of noise and use misleading information, but not representative of the local stakeholders/population. I understand that San Finx has solved the water discharge issue and Valoriza remain on the hook for any liabilities until the permit comes through. Can't understand why the share price has not lifted on such an accretive deal.
