    I suggest you read the 2008 full year result & the 2009 half year result. You will find the weak USD prior to the GFC contributed positively to the 2008 result, whereas the strong USD during the GFC impacted negatively on the 2009 half year result. Conclusion --> Weak USD = positive impact.
