ln today’s Australian newspaper is how the French nearly got our country instead of the British. If so there would be far few First Nation people alive now. Have a read what the French did to the Vietnamese in the 100 or so years there. If that doesn’t affect you read what the Belgium did in the Congo or the Spanish in South America , or the Dutch in Indonesia and so on. We could of had the Chinese too. The British royalty gave strict instructions on looking after those first here. Yes a few bad eggs in the box , but on the whole we all should be celebrating this day of bringing two cultures together.
