post taken.... but lets face the reality that Aus Day with the emphasis on foreign rule by a King/Queen and citizenship, which first Australians didn't have until 1968, have never been "one of us"..... and neither have most Aussies of Asian heritage, Italian, Turkish, Indian, etc.....
