Yeah that's why i think people's underlying health is possibly a confounding factor. And these people avoiding the vaccine for legitimate health reasons (ie directed by a doctor, or not worth it due to already being in palliative care etc) is the actual reason for their overrepresentation in COVID deaths.
But yes we'll never really know.
I'm not denying any facts, would just like to know more information about confounding factors before drawing any conclusions.
