    Hi MM,

Agreed, I don't see Akida being a CPU killer either. CPUs are quite useful to have alongside the likes of Akida.
    The phrase was 'GPU' killer.

The speculation posted was about NVIDIA wanting to keep a strong foothold in the likes of datacentres. If they manage to gain control of ARM, they would be in a stronger position to offload more GPUs in datacentres, even if there were well priced, lower power alternatives.

This is more akin to NVIDIA being using ARM as a crutch to try make the GPU business last that little bit longer.

Like it or not, even if Brainchip wasn't successful there are a lot of other offerings coming out that are much more efficient than a GPU. NVIDIA is a dead man walking.

    Pure speculation, DYOR
