Based on that article, I think Talga is 3 years ahead of the competition. Graphite Innovation Technologies wants to start working on bigger ships in 2022. We have had coatings on big ships since 2019. A true competitor would drive down margins for sure, and depending on the margins talga can get elsewhere for its graphene, maybe Talga does something else.
I do like the idea that graphene is being adopted in to more and more tech, And, it is cost effective. That is great news for Talga. That Talga has the luxury of choosing the highest margin possible business is a pleasure the likes of GIT does not have. Also, GIT has to supply its graphene from somewhere. Once Talga scales up, Talga will have the cheapest source of graphene on the planet.
