This is nothing personal, simply my own thoughts.

People should be careful before posting comments such as that. The way in which that post was written can be interpreted as implying certain accusations. It can come across that you are implying that the company will attempt to keep the funds for their own personal gain, for as long as possible. That can be seen as defamatory.

Yes people should have read the Offer Letter for the rights issue in detail, Clause 4.5 touches upon surplus funds. It is important to note that all monies are held in trust in a separate bank account as required under the Corporations Act so everyone can be assured that your money is still there.

Yes it does also say that money will be refunded "as soon as practicable after the Closing date", but think about it. Think about how many applications there are, think about how many cheques have to be drawn, think about the amount of administration time for possibly a small administration team.

Don't spread negative gossip. You will all get your money "as soon as practicable".

That's my thoughts anyway.
