You will get further with honesty than dressing up an excuse. They will see right through it as we have. Think about additional charges for writing this ASX query response as that shouldn’t have occurred. Simples.

Jokes aside, in all honesty I wonder if the company had any intent on releasing the info at all, certainly not the first time info has been withheld. Personally I believe they found themselves in a situation where the news leaked through other forums therefore they were obliged to release the announcement.
