Mate love your enthusiasm but honestly you are not being very grounded here.

The start up costs of the DSO was very low (they were fully funded to start it up!!). And if it was only profitable above $200 an experienced management team like MGU should/would have never been delusional enough to go down this track. It is way more likely that as yabo says the very high shipping cost made the operation to uncertain at the time so they pulled the plug.
The DSO stage by the way was never intended to just be a start up phase but an ongoing part of the operation to run next to the Hi Smelt....How did they figure that if the production costs are sky high??? That is utterly nonsensical. Don't be surprised they start it up soon if IO prices pop up and shipping rates return to normal. The first phase will be 62% so they may not get rich out of that but then they go to 65 and 68% which will sell at much higher prices and should make some good $$ as the costs per ton won't be much higher...And just to be clear: That was the plan all along! Apart from canceling the start up, this hasn't changed to my knowledge.

And no mate...$200M isn't chump change...There is absolutely no way MGU will be able to raise that until they have rock solid figures and a very clear plan forward. We don't have that currently. Comparisons to Lithium are ridiculous! You shouldn't compare anything to Lithium, its in a universe of it own at the moment.

And throwing profit numbers around is great. But I am waiting from number form the company that can be critically reviewed and judged on how valid they are. We can all talk but it means nothing. HC is littered with this kind of baseless posts. Same with your share price "predictions"...Only chance of them coming true is if MGU steps up its game.
