there are lobbyists, there are advisory staffers for individual MPs on both sides, there is also an advisory committee which is largely ad hoc as I understand it, created merely for the show of having an advisory committee.

you read like you know far more than I, so I'll defer to your opinion... are there some that I've missed, I would appreciate correction.

no legislated or constitutional body though?

the Statement is a claim for representation, imo. the Voice to PH is their chosen method as, if constitutionally supported, would replace the Advisory committee is suppose (yes, I'm uncertain) but the system they propose has yet to be formed by the Minister.

Ken Wyatt wants to compromise, and I agree his plan seems reasonable to me, to legislate the Voice, define its role and influence and see how it runs for a few years before putting the matter to a referendum.

the Uluru meeting established their desire for their voices to be heard, particularly in regards "truth telling" as practiced in Sth Africa post apartheid.... this would help white and immigrant Aussies to understand their context and situation better.

the structural changes are dependent on MPs.
