Another problem sellers face apart from the fact the stock is 99.5% down is the fact that the general population is a lot richer because
1. Rise of crypto and NFT. Many ordinaries individual made hundreds of millions, if not Billions in the case of 1 Shiba Inu holder who made 5.7 Billion in 6 months
2. 18 Sydney suburbs have median house price 4 million plus. What’s a few million liquidity of an asset that is 99.5% down to those people?
3. Monetary printing
4. Even depreciative assets like second hand cars have appreciated around 30%. Cigerrettes 800% up from 20 years ago
5. Z1P was 5c. Rose to 15 dollars and 300x appreciation. I can name over 100 stocks on the ASX alone that have appreciated 50x plus in terms of discrepancy from high to low. LTR 2000x. Just the whole lithium sector every stock about 100x appreciation.
6. When the asset you own drops more than 99% in value and others are making 100x or more profit. Things are out of balance. This 10000x discrepancy needs to be addressed. Transfer of funds from Growth to value stocks. Rich people need to park their money somewhere. Even if it’s a risky asset, at least they have diversified their portfolio and lowered their risk free of charge.
7. In conclusion, the sellers of 99.5% down OSP have no idea what they are selling into. They are not very bright. Bright people don’t sell an asset 99.5% down. Might as well let it drop to zero and claim it on tax. And they are losing strength. I’ve checked the sub holders. There are only 1 or 2 culprits selling. And they are nearly running on empty…
8. In terms of motive as to why they are so aggressively selling or driving the price down. Possible takeover. Drop the price hard on little liquidity, then offer to sell the busn at 1 dollar a share and 25m market cap. Then they can say shareholders are getting a 300% premium. Actually the Americans are getting a bargain. It might be the next 7000 million market cap Pro Medicus. It just needs time. Remember afterpay. 100k shell bought out by American private equity for 100 thousand turned into a tiny 40 Billion 3 years later…
