    Was just browsing through BBP's asx release dated 30/3/1007. Alinta was bought for 2.6b which owned 70% of Allinta-AGL. Later 30% of Alinta-AGL was purchased for nearly 0.5b. So total cost for Alinta purchase was approx. 3b. I am not sure how AFR is quoting 8b for Alinta purchase.
