No one cares about antibody tests. They just tell you that you either have had the vaccine, or have been infected. They don't even measure the level of antibodies. It's a binary test of either yes, you have antibodies, or no, you don't (or an immeasurable amount).
And that's a big point of contention as well. The TGA don't want any claims about level of protection.
Nor does the govt. They just want to implement a 3-4 month booster schedule to keep death rates low and hospitals clear.
Israel recently set a world record for case numbers and they're on their 4th booster shot. Antibody tests would be totally useless there.
It's not even about antibodies. It's about their functionality. The mRNA vaccines essentially program your body to respond to the spike protein. with so many mutations in the virus, the vaccine becomes ineffective at combating infection. However, if you are infected and vaccinated, your body can come up with its own defense that is vastly superior to the vaccine alone.
And that's a reason that people that aren't in the risk groups prefer to let it develop naturally. If you aren't old, and don't have health issues, you will likely just have light (or no) symptoms and you will develop resistance to the virus that is superior to a vaccine. This is also backed up by some epidemiologists and the reason that The Barrington Declaration was created.
At-risk groups (age, health) should have been vaccinated 100%. Life should've been allowed to resume as normal. The economic impacts cause far greater damages than all the insane lockdown / restriction business.
