I am not a big fan of Karl but this would have been a decision by the board and not the CEO.
Looking at their CVs, the directors will be well aware of their fiduciary and statutory duties (and the liabilities/responsibilities that come with them). And again, rather than fleeing the ship, they (the directors) have bought a lot more shares on the market. So they a) must see value in this acquisition and b) be positive in terms of LVT's share price going forward. Still, starting to regret not selling above 20c, as all the new investors/punters can buy into the company at a bargain share price now. Wish I had discovered the company today
