Giving money to poor people is not just a loss making investment, it's also encouraging wrong behaviour.
The main faults of the govt are excessive debt, rampant immigration and unbridled foreign ownership of residential housing. Our cities are bursting at the seams, houses are unaffordable to the younger generation and wages have stagnated.
More welfare (aka taxation) isn't going to solve those problems. Cutting back on welfare, immigration and better regulation of foreign ownership will.
