Highly unlikely in my un-informed view. It's more likely Putin getting a bit more aggressive with posturing to attempt to reduce the NATO deployments in East Europe. I don't entirely blame him but be mindful Western Media is going to sell this as the Big Bad Russia causing trouble. I do worry if Putin is having trouble keeping his house in order as if this is the case, an external threat (war) would help maintain his control.
I believe its more likely leverage to try and strengthen his argument and push the European leaders.
There is a lot more value for us in peace times where conflict is a risk and at-home risks need to be addressed. I don't think war would be good for us (as munitions based solutions are workable in war vs. peacetime applications i.e. Jails, Airport, Stadium etc.
