Firstly WAI22 - Is your sentiment right you hold zero? Do you intend to reenter? I don't trade.
My first GXY buy was June 2011 @ 0.77 cents , that was my highest ever buy price.
Had to sell 200,000 in 2016 as they became more than 80% of my portfolio , stupid rule I have.
Had to sell 20,000 in 2017 to help pay the old man for His farm , the boys and I bought. Still owe half a mil.
sold 30,000 last FY to balance out Capital losses on failed managed funds( never again) and some old dogs I accumulated over the years.
Sold $220,000 CG this FY 322K worth. Loaded as much in Super as possible ( 4 years no contributions + wifey what I could) as not to pay CG tax. Ordered a reef boat yesterday thanks so much to GXY and the F wit shorters who made it possible. Down about a Mil this week thinking of buying some back but I am supposed to be buying dividend paying stocks to transition into retirement and they are still by far my biggest holding. I can remember discussing with other LTH about attending the 2021 AGM in Perth ( We were expecting dividends about then ) and organizing a GXY golf day . Boat arrives in October who wants to go fishing?
