You also need to wonder how a start up company with no previous history in importation of medical devices has access to a closed ‘emergency’ Government tender process. Slippin has been right all along and been called out here as a conspiracy theorist, only now the media are exposing the seedy underbelly of mass misuse and appropriation of our tax payer funds. This will cost the libs the election if the good journos really turn up the heat and dig a little deeper into who is behind these companies and funding it all. Really hoping Doherty review of manufacturer claims that these dodgy Chinese tests have been approved on is not buried and hidden. The public deserve to know that a majority of the tests they have just spent millions of hard earned tax payer dollars on and are using or about to use on mass in aged care, schools, military and health settings are less accurate then flipping a coin. I can’t imagine anyone will be ok with that, especially when homegrown tech is being ignored and pushed to the bottom of the application pile and having to jump additional hoops the others did not. Staggering that some here want to stay quiet and tow the line…….this is your company as much as anyone else’s and it’s your community and fellow countrymen that are being hoodwinked and deceived. We hear all the time from politicians about supporting Australian made, Australian manufacturing, Australian jobs bla bla bla and yet we still turn to China when the last two years have clearly shown us with ridiculous bans and tariffs they have no interest in returning the favour. If anything the pandemic for anyone in business has exposed just how reliant we are on overseas supply chains and how quickly this can become an issue when things get stalled, staggering that our leaders still don’t get it. Time to wake up.

What it does show is how much china has infiltrated our public and private institutions that it can control business outcomes. The signs are everywhere but the aussie population is too addicted to cheap and generally inferior products that sustain their above average lifestyle. It costs jobs, income and suppresses business activity in areas that should be thriving in the current climate.
