On 25 November 2021, BrainChip announced the following in response to the ASX requesting further information relating to the MegaChips Agreement (see link above):
"Brainchip anticipates that it will recognize aggregate revenue of approximately US$2 millionunder the agreement over the current financial year and the financial year ending 31December 2022..."
It would not be unreasonable to assume that BrainChip has already recognised US$1 million in its accounts from this Agreement. If this is correct, and given receipts from customers for the quarter were US$1.1M, this would mean BRN had about $100k in revenue apart from the MegaChips Agreement this quarter.
Some may argue this is basically negligible for a company with a $2.5 billion dollar market cap.
P.s it's interesting I was unable to locate the Announcement linked above on the BrainChip website. If I haven't made a mistake, I wonder why this announcement seems to be the only one not listed on the website?
