John what do you think of the prospect of tree cropping in your area? Trees (preferably legume base) with grazing for low input. Sandalwood (which parasitises Acacias) gaining a lot of momentum over here in the West due to the harvestable oilseed after year 4. So a carbon sink with a dividend in the form of a machine harvestable (macadamia harvester) commodity. I have ~7% of the farm across to trees now on my most marginal areas. Looking to try grazing with polled Wiltshire next winter to elimante herbicide costs.
