i think I would get it more if it was a merger (not of equals I know) but to buy them out just seems such a waste of funds. last i heard sezzle wanted a 50% premium but it's hard to know off what exact price given recent volatility. i believe talks broke down and are now back on post that.
i think the second bummer would be that it further distances Z1P taking on larger partners through M&A if they are focusing on absorbing smaller ones themselves
