Although Appen has no debt, interest rate rises affect the discount rate applied to all stocks. Bond market is pricing in an interest rate of 2-2.5% into the future. Therefore high PE stocks will be sold down. Appen needs to show growth is back or at least stabilized. Needs to justify the high PE.
