I'm loving this thread as the responses clearly show how not to invest in stocks.

All this rubbish about how you guys research hard when really all you do is trawl the internet with different keywords going to find a secret article about the company.

I used to do this and it got me nowhere and the reason is the true information is hidden behind closed doors.

MY STRATEGY
What I do NOW is look at the monthly charts for all companies in the ASX upto $10. If I see a stock which had bottomed on the monthly and looks like a reversal is in play I then look at the weekly chart to see if it shows signs of a reversal. If it does I move down to the day chart looking for potential entry. Buy the bottom sell the top.

Start with learning Japanese candlesticks and once you have a good understanding follow my strategy.

i have been in this game for over 20 years and I can honestly tell you research is pointless as it will never give you an insight into the market trend. What you guys would normally do is read sonething in the forum's and when a stock is pumping buy that stock when in actual fact you are buying into a long-term term Downtrend.

I'm not trolling i have been there done that type of thing.
