Regardles of the technical description of this scrubby landscape, I would be surprised if there were any visible trace or noticable difference in flora or fauna between the mined area and the adjacent land 6 months after the sod is transplanted and the operations nudge on down the plot.

If the EPA are spending significant amounts of time on this, then they are wasting it in my ill-informed opinion. It may be that things sit on desks, waiting for the next box tick while they are busy with other things. Whatever the reason, it seems to be getting beyond a joke now. But they have all the power and so we can either sit and wait or move our money on.

In my particular case, I moved a lot of my money on at good profits (retaining a significant holding - for me at least) but missed out on some profits when the oppies crashed. I was fortunate enough to hit big on another stock and more than compensate for the poor performance of VRX this past while. I'm no expert stock picker, but I have managed about 100% growth in my portfolio this financial year (it was near 200% a week or so ago), so I can't moan too much.

I am still confident about the long term prospects, but it is a long time before drinks. A long while back I was predictiing getting dividends from VRX by now as they would have repaid any construction borrowings out of cash flow and would not have anything to do with all the cash other than give it to me.
