iam, I have read the announcement three times and I reckon u are drawing a long bow (or pipeline)if u interpret the LNG facility to be in Tassie Shoals. The LNG facility is based on a success of Artemis and I couldn't see it being located in Tassie Shoals.
On the other hand, its a concern to me if they are talking about an LNG facility on shore in the vicinity of the permit as it will be very expensive. The use of the word integrated as per the extract below raises alot of questions including concerns about costs, time frame and any other projects that it may be integrated with:-
"Arrangements to accommodate future implementation of an integrated LNG project have been agreed"
I can't believe that CVX and WPL did not submit indicative bids which can only lead me to the conclusion that the selected farminee must be offering a better deal. That raises further questions about how good the deal must be to give up on two players who wouyld have the necessary LNG facilities in place for any gas. We can only hope that we end up with more than 20% of Artemis otherwise it won't seem like it will be worth selecting the farminee.
