No doubt if the SP picks up, there'll be a new uptrend, which means the descending triangle is no longer relevant, because its then part of a broader uptrend. I believe in science. Show me the regression analysis, the unambiguous pattern definitions, the control group - all the stock standard scientific methods used to prove that one variable can predict the behaviour in another. Until then, I can't take your musings seriously. Anyone can find patterns. The human brain is wired to find them. Most times the patterns are spurious.
